JaKe is a composer arranger/orchestrator, and bassist who writes and produces in a plethora of styles comfortably, whether it be bombastic and cinematic orchestral pieces, stirring yet tranquil chamber music, big band or small ensemble jazz, electronic music, math rock, or pieces for solo bass guitar. He earned his BM in Composition from University of the Arts, and his Masters of Music in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring at NYU.

JaKe has been writing for the Broadway Beats live comedy musical series Third Act as well as their video series Spotlight On. He composed the scores for the award-winning short films Humpty (dir. Britt Miggs) and Locals Only (dir. Taryn O'Connor). Above all, JaKe is passionate about storytelling and strives to communicate through his music.
